A bit of everything and nothing, really

Its 10:50 and I’ve been trying to sleep for about 2 hours.
In hindsight, I shouldn’t have had that cup of tea before bed.

I didn’t even have anything I wanted to say. Just that I’m still here, still alive and still sorry about the Avengers fic. I swear, when I’m not getting distracted b stupid crappy French speaking exams, meeting up with friends to lie in a field (because all three of us are hippies) or brand new Destiel fanfictions… That’ll be up eventually.

THERE ARE ONLY 2ISH WEEKS LEFT UNTIL MY GUIDE TRIP OH MY GOD I CANNOT WAIT.
I have plans to meet up twice with my best friend during the first week of summer, so that should be good.
And I’ll have English coursework to start. Because, despite going into year 11 (I’m 16 in September for you Americans) they have decided to start us early on 6th form and A level work. So I have to read Kite Runner again. It made me cry, its so horribly beautiful. And also the Great Gatsby which my mum loves.
Finally sleepy YES!

Sorry this still isn’t the Avengers Fanfiction…

… But I have something to get off of my chest.
I was scrolling through a Tumblr. Its the Tumblr of a Wincest shipper (if you don’t know what that is RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAN) and they were criticising things Castiel did on the CBS tv show Supernatural. More to the point, they were criticising things Castiel fan and Destiel fans did.

You know what gets me?
Their points are completely valid!
I am a Destiel shipper. It is actually my OTP. But they were complaining about how some Destiel fans are kind of demanding for it to become canon. They’re right.’some of them are.
However… The majority of us don’t badger the creators and actors of the show. Most of us sit at home writing slash and/or smutty Destiel fanfictions.
Some of us may get into heated debates with Wincest shippers… But some of you guys are at fault too, here.
The person who’s tumblr I was reading had some valid arguments. And some of the anons she was… Discussing… With, came off as a bit… Well… Dim. And silly to be honest. Tumblr-person clearly had the upper hand.
Why can’t people just get along though? Why do we feel the need to completely convince someone that our otp is canon and better than yours?
Yes, its hypocritical of me writing this…
While I know its the right thing to say, m head is screaming to rant about how wrong she is and how dare they moan about Cas?!!
Cool it Shannon, thats exactly what I was on about.

I am really truly sorry about the CaptainHawk fic, it should be up soon. Though I have to revise for French speaking…

Personalities change

I’m sure everyone has some friends that have changed over the time you have known them.
I do.
But then, I’ve also changed myself. I used to be a shy, quiet, scared-of-everything kinda girl. I couldn’t talk to anyone and wouldn’t take part in case I did something wrong.
Now, I’m still shy. But I’m getting better! I guess telling all of you about my life has made me okay with people and talking to them.
At school this week, we have Enrichment week. Basically, we son’t have normal lessons and instead we have activities. I chose Drama.
Yeah, I know. Bad idea for someone with stage fright!
I picked because I wanted to gain confidence ( by throwing myself in at the deep end…). Well, and the options were:
Do something I wouldn’t enjoy by myself or
Do something I wouldn’t enjoy with friends.
Easy!

Moving topics entirely, thank you all so much for actually reading my blog! I have no idea whats different about this one to all the others I’ve started but Ho Hey. Thanks anyway!
